Why is there a platform 1 sign at a station with only one platform?
At one point there were at least two platforms (the remains of one is still visible), I assume this was originally platform 1. I agree it is strange that said sign has been maintained. The National Rail live departure boards similarly show pointless platform 1s at various locations.
