May I ask how the 101 seems to be in contact with the footbridge on the right hand side? :shock::lol:

Just a trick of the angle! Stanhope originally had two through platforms, which was then rationalised down to the one in the picture. Now it has two again for use on the Weardale Railway.

I have one from the other direction.

Not for the quiz this one.

That wouldn't be Stanhope...Would it? :lol::D:p

Just got to wait for TheFab444 to post his next one now...Incidentally, wouldn't it be a good idea to have a list of those who always want to "open the floor" if their guess is correct? I always do this because I don't know if I'll be around when the answer's revealed, and a list like that would help keep the game running faster. 8-)
(And it'd save people like me worrying about whether we're accidentally holding up the thread or not! :))

It's been well over an hour... I'm scanning one for you; up in 3 mins...

OK, here it is. And lest anyone wonders, I have left the blind unblanked because the destination on it bears no relation at all to the service the train is on!:roll:

No correct answer has been offered as an answer so far...;)

( Read that wording ^^^^^ very carefully.... ;) )

IPT - saw your answer, but I don't respond individually to every single post. If it had been correct, rest assured that I would have said so.:)

Something makes me think the platform canopies may have been changed at Epsom in the last twenty years, so is it Epsom before the new steel canopies were put up?
