I'm afraid I am out of ideas.

If I know it is incorrect I was trying to be helpful save waiting on the no.

I still think this is in Scotland as you have the red ballast and the red chippings on the platform. Scotrail did this in a big way in the late 80s.

80mph single-track and semaphore signalling narrows it down, it certainly eliminates quite a lot of lines... Ascott (Oxon)?

I can't remember the station name (Damn) but I think it might lie on a little-used SWT branch somewhere. Am I getting warm? :)

(By the by, there's a slight problem with that photo: The speed limit sign is clearly missing a zero on the right-hand side! :shock:<D)
