Indeed, hope you agree that that photo makes the station look about 500% nicer than it actually is.

I have a theory on Lancashire, Blackburn and Burnley hate each other, Blackpool and Preston hate each other, Lancaster hates everyone and everyone hates Chorley :p

It is a strange county, the East side is horrid, Colne, Nelson, Burnley, Accy, Blackburn. Preston is OK, Blaackpool is awful, but places like Lancaster, Southport, Hesketh Bank and Preston are all very nice, generally speaking, the South and East are tacky, the North and West, along with the Forest of Bowland and Ribble Valley are nice places to live.

It really is (Burnley-Nelson-Colne) one of the worst areas in Britain, an absolutely awful area to live... parts of Blackburn too (but not the nice West Side I live in!)

Although I would say that Colne is by far the nicest part of the Burnley/Pendle area.
