Im pretty sure it is Longbridge. Its the only place I know where the Overheads are on the outer but not the fast lines. And it doesn't look like any of the other Stations on the Southern Cross-city lines.

I'm not sure there have been any Birmingham to Cardiff services in Arriva Trains Wales's time - as far as I know they are all Cross-Country Nottingham to Cardiff via Birmingham.

Perhaps it was empty stock?

There was a thread quite recently on this, it turned out that the pacer had been to Doncaster Works to receive some work. And the picture is showing the ECS back to Cardiff.

Would have been quite something going up the Lickey if it ran the same route to Doncaster!

Indeed, it was 5V42 Doncaster to Cardiff Canton I think. It bloody ran early and when it passed, the sun came out from behind some cloud! Oh well.
