Here is the description of a station I am thinking of. after someone has guessed it, do your own :)
Obviously I'll start...
- Station has 4 platforms intact, but only one in use
- Southern metals, but off the 3rd rail
- Has something to do with Lewes

YESSSSSS!!!! WE GOT THERE!!!!!!

Now, we plod on to our next one... *ahem*

- Does it really open and close, and have a keyhole?
- One platform, even though there are 3 lines nearby
- A few stationary 185s, but not many.

This should be easier ;)

Total stab-in-the-dark guess here (Not even looked at a map yet!) but could the station in question be Cornhill? 8-)
(I'll check some maps later if I get time, but this sounds to me like it's in Southern territory somewhere in SE London...And there are TONS of Networkers around there! :))

If I'm right, I'd like to post one if that's all good! <D

no, the 'slope' bit: think of a slope, and the different words for it...

Slope
Hill
Mountain
Incline
Gradient

which one sounds like a station? I'll give you a clue then - suppose it is hard
...
it ends in 'Hill'

oh, and think of what the indians call sweetcorn...
