got it, it was scraped all down nearside, and minor rear damage

I was looking into one a while back, I like how the 1.6 petrol engine is not only more powerful than the 1.9D, but more torquey

I do like the 1.9D a lot though.

Here's another.

This one was a 1.3 single point injection, ran it for a while when i was fixing it up, as was cheaper than my skyline obviously. When i sold this one, i bought a 1.3 multi point injection estate with rear damage.

overall the 1.3 was an excellent engine, between the 2 of them they were in my ownership for around 2 years.

I tend to buy damaged cars cheap, put back to good condition and sell on to make my self some extra cash. The estate i kept for 18 months as a second car/runabout after i repaired it as it was such a good car, only sold it as i the person i leased a driveway/ garage space off of sold up. I always take photos of my work before, after and during to show buyers to keep myself honest, Got a full gallery of various damaged/ partially repaired cars on my laptop to pick from for this thread!

The one I looked at a few weeks back was a 1.3MPI estate, but as I haven't sold my Ka yet, I couldn't buy it. Possibly not a bad thing, since I don't need the space for transporting a dog anymore.

Nope :D

One thing I can say is that it's almost certainly not the car you think it is, but it is completely standard.

.

i'd highly recommend them, the rattle shuts up with some fresh oil. they suffer from engine condensation, cured by a decent run, but gives the same mayo effect as head gasket failure.
