Oh joy. Maybe I'm not so rubbish at my own game after all. If not for having seen a Stagecoach bus to Annan in Carlisle last year I would never known thought to guess it.

Anyway, as with my other ones this is from the 'Net. (Sorry!) I uploaded it before, and took it down again. Note that there is more than one interchange facility in this location, so a clear means of identifying exactly which interchange is required. (This means "Shudehill" and not "Manchester". N.B.: It isn't Shudehill.)

Not a lot to go on inspector! I can see what I think looks like an Arriva Bus there. All I can come up with is Liverpool Paradise Street.

You can indeed see an Arriva bus. But this bus is not owned by any North West constituent.

Note that to the immediate left [north] of the interchange is a railway station.

Not Barnsley Interchange. The full name of this facility, which is *south* of Birmingham, does end in the word "Interchange" though.

Not Canary Wharf, but that is the closest geographically so far.

I will add that the station to the immediate left has a suffix whose name features before the word Interchange in the facility's name. (There is another word after the suffix, and before "Interchange", but I will not kick up a fuss if it is overlooked.)

No, but I have to say that the suffix is correct - and there's only one other Victoria south of Birmingham.

If gnolife does not get this he will kick himself because a chance to get me will have slipped away!

No kicking yourself then

The facility's full name is Southend Victoria Gateway Interchange, and it only started operating about ten months ago; it has eight stops. The main bus station is a few hundred metres further south. It has an awkward road sharing system in that both pedestrians and buses have full priority - which has caused some problems...! (Not "Southend Victoria Coach Station Interchange Central Parkway"!)

Well, it's obviously somewhere up your way, and probably in the southern half of Manchester courtesy of the SC bus...

East Didsbury?
