First in Southport? Since when? It doesn't have a bus station either :|

I think Penzance is a good shout.

Probably since one came within a couple of inches of running me over near Haig Avenue stadium.

You should see what they're like here. Our driveway has a 15 speed limit... they often do 40. In bendies.

Technically I have been hit by a bus before now. It was an Arriva Southend Volvo Olympian that mounted the kerb at the bus stop - and hit my head with the wing mirror! My dad also once ran over my foot in his car <(

'Tis 150222's floor then.

I've come up with a little idea: I'm going to run a GtS-esque tally from the start. In the highly unlikely event that we hit X,000 posts in months to come, we don't want to have to disturb OxtedL again! There's no reason as to why I can't do it myself.

So far, gnolife has made the most guesses, at 16 - all wrong. (Sorry for being so blunt!)

Now I see why you are the Anti-Arriva man

I've only caught buses in Gtr Manchester, Southampton, Warrington & Bradford. I think thats why my guesses are so far-fetched

And there was me thinking that was before your time. Then I realised it said you joined in September 2010 - over a year before that title was retired, and even before gnolife! Now though, this is correct...

Sorry :| It's all in the name of fun though, so having some guesses that make no sense whatsoever is part of the amusement! I've used buses in too many areas to count - and that's pre- charity-thingy.

I was only really a browser until September last year, now I'm becoming a bit of a "regular" I think :)

You saying that has reminded me of something.

Both Southend and Bath have had a new bus station during the last ten years. I am going to say that any bus station in use in the deregulated era, i.e. post-1986, is valid even if it no longer exists. Anything flattened before 26 October 1986 however is not permitted for this game.

I was wondering about that when dredging up pictures to use earlier on.

Good to know :)

A vast swarm of Varios, worcester?

Looks like the one.

I thought I would know this one after initially seeing the Varios in Brewers livery, but then it dawned on me that I couldn't place the Solo and there was a Midland Red West bus at the top!

I think I'm going to enjoy this thread....
