I didn't cover up the registration plate as it was a demonstrator from Volvo and because of this I thought it would have no effect on people's guesses.

Just a quick note - I'm going to say that suffixes are not necessary where there is only one bus station in the area. Northampton for instance is technically Grefyfriars, but given there is only the one there saying Greyfriars wouldn't be necesary. By contrast, saying "Manchester" would not be good enough given there are several sc facilities in Manchester.
