Looks like the old bus station in Whitefield I remember from my student days in Salford way back when.

Yes it is a splendid photo (I took it!) and yes it is Haymarket, Newcastle. I hoped that the destination of 'Dudley' might be a red herring!

Doncaster? There are two bus stations in Donny, it reminds me of the one right next to the railway station.

It is Doncaster, but not the one next to the station. For completeness I need the full name for this one

I think it was just called 'Doncaster South' or 'Doncaster Southern'? Later in life it was 'Civic Quarter car park'.

It was indeed Doncaster South Bus Station, which in my opinion was the less grotty one of the two. The North Bus Station next to the railway station was even more gloomy.
