GTR trainee train driver

Hi All, this is my first posting. I was wondering if anyone could give an idea of how long it should take to be invited to the GTR DMI. I found out in late January that I passed the assessment day and will be invited for a DMI next. I listed Victoria as my preferred depot. Not sure if I should send a chaser email as I have still not heard. Has anyone else sat the assessment day in January and in the same position? Just so eager…

Thank you both for the insight……it’s just so harsh when you have so much banking on it. Just want to give my kids a better life like I am sure a lot of us on this site may want - at least we get to have a realistic insight with this forum which is so helpful.

That is super fast. Must’ve been top of the scoring all the way through. Even though I thought I’d smashed every process. Obviously not as good as I thought -
