GTR thameslink shift patterns

Hello,

I'm just wondering what the shift pattern is like for a driver with thameslink? If it's 7 on 7 off or something different?

It's a 4 day week with 2 rest days each week , Sunday's are outside the week so you can choose to work it as a fifth day or have it off

Don't new driver's have to commit to 12 sunday's a year , and don't you get a long weekend every few week's.

It was part of the pay deal but never enforced long weekend every 3rd week

No that's rubbish, maybe they meant the shifts could cover any of the days. Long weekend starts on a Friday and you don't come back in until the following wednesday

It's a 3 week rolling roster

Week 1 M o, T o, W l, T l, F l, S l,
Week 2 M l, T l, W o, T o, F e, S e,
Week 3 M e, T e, W e, T e, F o, S o.

o = rest day
l = late
e= early

Week 3 goes back to week 1, hence along weekend 5days off every 3 weeks.
