You won't get a job at bedford. It's being downsized
Also do your company have a minimum tie in period?

You'll probably be placed in Cricklewood on the TL side if you're lucky...

Hang on, are you a qualified driver or not? Doesn't matter if you passed all the tests. They are irrelevant if you are a driver anyway.
Like I said you've got very litre chance of getting a job qualified or not at bedford.

Why bother? Two years have passed and you have got another job anyway. Either they forgot about you, or they sent a rejection email which you didn't receive for some reason.

With the amount of adverts Thameslink have done for Trainee's in the last 2 years i'd guess that pool was closed a while ago

Thameslink/GTR's recruitment is really hard to find contact details for, but by the sounds of it the company you settled for isn't near where you live and you want to move closer to home?

As weird as it is you'd probably find it hard to get a qualified role with them anyway now as once qualified most companies want at least 2 years of post qualified experience, which includes routes, so you'll probably have to wait around 2 years starting from when you finish learning your core routes.

Why couldn't you be bothered for the last 2 years.

You honestly want us to believe you sat tests and then left it 2 years are qualified for another toc but still want to be a trainee with gtr, get real.

Why don't you help yourself it's not hard to contact gtr recruitment department use Google.

Why not send an email request to the hr department? You must have a contact email addy, or even a phone number or postal address, or they would not have been able to correspond with you in the first place.....
Personally, if it was important to me, I'd have been a lot more proactive in chasing it up, certainly within a 2 year period.....
Sift through your old email addresses, take your time to compose a well worded draft to the appropriate dept, and if you don't get a reply in a reasonable time frame, follow it up again if you still feel it is important to you.
Good luck

Sounds like he wants to tidy up some loose ends, I see no issue in wanting to tell them you are no longer wanting the position.
Even if qualified else where.

Have you been able to log into their recruitment site, and check your homepage?
With all the applications being electronic, your previous applications should be available to view, and it should show you the status of each one. At least it will give you an idea of where you got to if you can't get through to them elsewhere......

Their careers portal web page is meaningless. Despite passing everything, including DMI, mine still states "Application Submitted". When I questioned this as to whether is should have progressed along the scale I got told "not to worry about this - they can see that I'm in the talent pool". I enquired about this a second time and am still waiting for a response some 12 months later.
