GTR shunter waiting list

Passed the assessment, passed the interview, had E-mail to say I'm on the reserve list for a vacancy.
How long does this normally take for non-driving shunters on the great northern line? I'm itching to give my notice in, but not if I've got to wait for months.

By any chance, does your GTR application status show you're at the 'offer stage'?

Had an interview a while back, never heard anything back from them not via phone nor e-mail, just been stuck on this 'offer stage' for a few months now?

As for the wait, I really don't know... sorry. If my experience is anything to go by it could be a lengthy wait. I'd worry about the notice as soon as they've given a formal contract/start date.

Yeah, just need to know I've actually got it now and pass the medical, so not counting my chickens just yet

It's now on the ''offer stage'' mresh91, but I've also had an E-mail to say I'm on the reserve list for when the vacancies become available.
