GTR or GWR

Which is best company to work for ?

There are a few good bits in GTR; but GWR on the whole; for most jobs. Not that I work for either of them; you understand.

Given how unhappy some (many?) GTR staff are with the company, the only sensible choice has to be GWR.

Why they unhappy? How would it compare if you were train driver? Wages, hours, routes and conditions anyone?

Gtr are in the middle of a dispute with southern management and unions over the whole doo issue and rightly so. Drivers are definitely affected by this

Depends on department and route. I know a guy who's worked both.

Put it this way, if you are not going for a senior manager or a driver role GTR doesn't appear to be very fun right now. For anyone.

I appreciate the comment. Im fortunate position of trainee driver roles for either of them so just wana make right choice.
