Don't think this has been asked already, and didn't want to hijack the thread in UK rail discussion with a fares issue..

Specifically I'm interested in the 0944 (new) / 0954 (old) from Kings Lynn, but the general point might affect many other stations. The network card easements here:
https://www.network-railcard.co.uk/using-your-railcard/travel-times/
..state that network cards may be used on the 0954 southbound from Kings Lynn. But the 0954 doesn't exist anymore. There is an 0944... and then a 1044. So, do members think I can assume the easement has 'transferred' to the 0944?

Assume nothing!

Ticket booking engines don't show the 0944 as being valid for a Network Railcard discounted ticket.

I suspect TOCs haven't worked out what changes to easements they might want to make as a result of timetable changes.

Nothing yet, but it is incredibly rare that fares changes are made in advance of a new timetable. I don't think this is a high priority for GTR. I doubt they've even considered it, to be honest.

When Cambridge North opened, they didn't put it in the Network Railcard area for a while, and GTR also failed to add an entry for the new station on various restriction codes, resulting in Off Peak fares being valid for early morning services for many months.

They are also allowing off peak fares to be sold on certain journeys right now, at "peak" times, since the timetable change (which they have to honour).

Assume nothing!
It's GTR, so you can assume incompetence until proven otherwise ;)
