I have heard that the atmosphere at Hertford house has been far worse than normal past few months.

Basically a number of head office jobs are going to be duplicated in July and a team has been put together to oversee the 'restructuring'.

It isn't surprising unfortunately, just a case of who?
I suspect some will wait and see where the HQ is before deciding on voluntary redundancy.

I believe there was a internal brief stating the Southern and GTR Twitter teams were going to be working side by side and for longer hours,methinks 24/7 was mentioned.

Obviously where roles overlap there will be some losses but with the merger, it was going to happen anyway and me being realistic.
