GTR Gillingham

Hi, I recently partially passed my train drivers assessments, I just have the multi modal interview and line managers interview to get fully through the assessments. I've applied for a job at Gillingham, can anyone give me any info or contacts with regards to being a train driver out of the gillingham depot, I'm trying to get as much information as possible before my interviews.

You could do far worse than actually going down the station and trying to speak to a driver or two. The PN point is on platform 3 and drivers are coming and going all the time. Now whether they have time or are in a good mood thats another matter!

There are no GTR drivers based at Gillingham currently, all drivers are trainees and are either in the classroom or out frontending. The best info is to look online for any future plans and routes surrounding the thameslink program.

I doubt any southeastern drivers will know much about what will or could happen.
The only routes would be gillingham via woolwich to London and maybe via Swanley.
