Thinking of getting a piercing on my face but can’t find the uniform policy to see if work (GTR) would get annoyed about it.

myself and some of my colleagues already have tattoos, which don’t seem to be an issue. But then they are easier to ignore than something on your face, although I have seen some people who work non customer facing roles have nose piercings etc.

Wondering if anyone here knows? Or what’s your TOCs policy?

I would suggest that your HR department are the only ones to ask if you want a factual answer

Aye of course. I have some AL booked so was going to check properly when I return to work.

You should have easy access to your company’s uniform standard on their intranet or staff portal or whatever surely? If not, your line manager is the best person to speak to or, as suggested, HR.

Personally Id give a facial piercing a miss then you would not have to bother with the policy. But that s just my opinion.
