GTR application status showing 'Offer Stage'

Hi,

Recently I applied for a job working for GTR. I had an assessment day and an interview.

My application was showing after this at 'interview stage'. However from around 1430 today it has jumped to 'Offer Stage'.


At first I took it to mean i have got the job, but have not been contacted...

Does anyoan know if they put everyone to 'Offer Stage' or only those that they wish to recruit?

Assessment was mid Jan interview last Monday

Hi mate, don’t read too much into that.
I passed the assessment, DMI and MMI for a trainee driver role back in July (I think). Mine changed to offer as soon as I passed the last thing, Now waiting for a medical and course date.

So the fact that it's changed to 'Offer Stage' implies I've passed the interview?

I wouldn’t want to say 100% yes, but in my experience, then probably yes. Don’t get your hopes up too much until you know for sure. They seemed quite quick (within a week or so) in my experience to tell you if you’ve passed or failed. The wait is for a start date.

Thanks, have just messaged them on the application page asking for some clarification as to what the Offer Stage means... So fingers crossed thet come back to me soon

They replied, im in the 'reserve pool' and a a final decision will be made in march

Wouldn't read too much into that. Mine too says "offer stage" from when I applied way back in 2015. The reality is I was dumped in a talent pool for two years then told last September that they were no longer recruiting for my chosen depot, I lived too far away to be considered for others and 'best of luck for the future'.

Yeah I'm good. Been lurking on and off for a while since the GTR / Chiltern fiasco's but not had any reason to post much since I consider myself out of the game now.
Did you sort anything out with GTR regarding relocation?

That was someone else, and if its who i think, he did. I failed dmi, didnt need to relocate, after a few no thanks i passed dmi with arriva, medical next week, im in bedford.

Hey guys, I have been shortlisted for he shunted driver vacancy, assessment day in May.

May I please ask what extra material you studied for these tests? As I have received the prep pack from GTR, but I want to extend my knowledge as much as possible?

Any help would be appreciated.
