My friend only has a PS3 because he wanted a Blu-Ray player and was told he may as well get a PS3 because there wasn't really much difference in price.

So instead of a Blu-Ray player, he got a PS3 with two free games! Ner.

Aaaah, that's a slight problem. Simply move the pc downstairs and use it as a media centre (if possible).

This game has blown the level of detail into a new world!

Really loving this game, and I'm not into games like these usually, but GTA is just the pinnacle of all games!

I was lucky enough to pre-order mine at 2pm on Monday, then got it yesturday at 9am! Thought i'd better buy it, as the backlog for orders is 2 months in some places right!?!?

Yeah, it's not really my sort of game either, but GTA is just great. Amazing by anyone's standards.

We missed out on pre order stock but managed to get it on the release date from a high street store.

But yeah - I got a chance to sit down an start the game today. Somehow I managed to get a Patriot over this wall into this railway depot and kept driving down the tracks. I ended up on a bridge that you're enclosed in as there's a road on top. If you drive over the bridge you get a six star wanted level but because you're encased in this metal truss bridge the helicopters are unable to shoot you and the police vehicles can't exactly get to you as they're on the road above. Anyway, keep going and you end up in the subway system of the second island, where again they can't get to you provided you don't start walking upstairs from the platforms. If you do the swat/army shoot a few holes into you There was a point in the subway tunnels where I managed to escape the police circle on the map, but about two seconds later my six wanted stars came back

Overall quite impressed with it so far! The trains even have announcements

I've only had a quick go on it, but the controls are taking some getting used to. Driving with shoulder buttons and such...

Dunno Gizzy, but it looks amazing even on my crappy CRT tv ..... hock:
And the controls are fine, you just need to play it more! I've played it for 10 1/2 hours so far, half of that was on release day ....
