Hi all,
Tomorrow evening two family members and I need to make a short (return) trip by train from Gordon Hill to Cuffley followed by a bus that's covered by a Cuffley PlusBus ticket. I have a Network Railcard and my natural inclination would be to use that but, of course, there's the MonFri minimum fare. So my next choice is Groupsave, which works.
However, I'd like to get a discount on the PlusBus tickets too, and Groupsave doesn't work for that. A Network Railcard does work (no minimum fare for PlusBus), but would I be allowed NEW-discounted PlusBus tickets without NEW-discounted rail tickets? And if the answer is yes, am I correct in thinking that the only way to buy them in this case would be from a station, hoping that the clerk doesn't raise an eyebrow?
