Groupsave Gatwick Airport to Paddington/Zone1 TC

Three of us travelling from Gatwick Airport tuesday morning spending the day in london and the night at Paddington. We all go our seperate ways the next morning
Would the cheapest option, although we aren't going back to Gatwick, be an 'FCC only' Gatwick - Zones 1-6 travelcard at £24.75 (=8.28 each)

I understand we would have to travel together on the Gatwick-London train but what are the restrictions on travelling together on the tube for the rest of the day?

That is the best option I know of, but you must travel together at all times.

As long as their onward travel consists of more than a single bus journey, yes.
