I have a urgent ticketing enquiry for today ...

4 Off Peak One Day Travelcards from Gillingham (Kent) (GLM) with High Speed ...

The Trainline is quoting me £91.60 - surely GS4 is applicable and isn't showing up - I make it the price should be £45.80 for the 4.

Can someone please clarify this for me please?

Thanks
Ryan

Put Groupsave 4 in as if it was a railcard. Also, don't buy from the Trainline, they'll charge an admi fee, use another Trainline based site such as TPE (I don't think WebTis allows Groupsave, it certainly didn't used to).

GPS-4 as a railcard doesn''t work on Southeastern or East Coast websites ...

I know not to use TheTrainline, I was using them to try and find the price ...

Head on over to a trainline based website such as TransPennine, First Great Western or South West Trains and book there. GroupSave 4 is one of the 'Railcard' options. You can't enter 'London Zones 1-6' as a destination, instead, enter London St Pancras as your destination and you'll be given 'Travelcard' as one of the fares options.

Groupsave is only valid on HS1 for the ODT and CDR ticket types.

Which is what the OP wants.

Can you even buy groupsave tickets online? I tried several times (and several sites) with no success (to book GTW-SCG SVR on GPS-4, in case anyone cares).

Yes. I bought Groupsave 4 SVRs Cardiff - Tenby on the FGW site. Not valid on ATW who have their own small groups product which only gives a 30% discount. Only 15 FGW trains a year Cardiff - Tenby but the times are perfect for me.

I've tried your example (random dates) on FGW's booking engine and it gives me a GroupSave SVR at £54.20 for 4 adults....
