Group Bourdon Test video has me worried.

When practicing on that software I was probably going at around that speed - I 'played' on it several times a day, particularly on my hour commute to work for over a week. On the day however, I slowed down slightly as you generally do when you are being assessed! I asked a few friends to have a play on that software too to see how I compared with them... might be worth you asking around.

Mistake wise - I was only getting about 1 - 4 errors per 'go'.

It's pointless doing it that fast so don't worry about. Aim for half a page with 1 or 2 errors and a low row fluctuation and you will be fine.

Remember, it's as much about accuracy as it is speed and the test is designed so you generally don't finish a whole page.

I did not go that fast and passed it easily. It is a little 10 minute test. The assessment day is 6 hours plus. The Structured Interview is much harder in my opinion.

Doing the dots on a TV screen is much easier than doing it on paper, trust me.

That's pretty interesting, I found the GB test far easier on paper, although it was much harder work on the hands as I wanted to make sure the impression went through the carbon paper!

In tests I was getting near identical scores both on computer and paper. As others have said, forget the video and get to half a page down or a line or two below that with errors as close to zero as pos (maybe zero to 6 or 7 consistently) and you can do the assessments knowing you will pass this one with relative ease.

It's baffling why people don't practice and then come unstuck on the day.

To this person, practice made the difference between failing it first time and getting The Highest Score in the World second time.
