Hey folks, got my test in a few days. Excited and nervous.

Was wondering what the pass mark is for the Group Bourdon.
I get better every time I try it, most recent attempt is:

Targets Omitted 4
Marked Incorrect 3
Total Cells 1278
Mean Cell Time 0.291
Median Cell Time 0.230
Completed Rows 49
Mean Row Time 7.244
Median Row Time 7.160
Row Fluctuation 3.26

Is this anywhere good enough?

Also does anyone know if there is any shop arithmetic in the Mechanical Test? Just a bit worried since we only get 30 secs a question that my math skills aren't too quick.

Thanks,
Fraser.

Thats about what I was scoring and I passed. My actual assessment was on paper which I found much easier.

It could be ok no one really knows, I was averaging around 1350 marked with none marked wrong and one omitted.

I passed the Bourdon test with well above average mark, unfortunately four out of the six people taking the assessments were sent home early after taking the Bourdon and Mechanical Test M4.1 first.

As mentioned the paper version is easier, it could help add an extra line or two to your score, I also found I stopped marking dots wrong when I switched to paper.

And there is no real maths on the Mech Test but it is difficult, I only just passed.

Tests went well yesterday, done the 2 trainability tests, the group bourdon (on paper) and the mechanical 4.1 which was the hardest - if I've failed any it was that one.

Thanks for all the help on the forum, will hopefully get called for an interview with the driver managers so I'll need to do a lot of research.

Hope you get the results you need mate. Now its back to waiting and hoping!!:D

Which TOC you going for?

Any recomendations of preparing for the Mech test? I've got the Barrons book which is sort of helping (hopefully!)

Hi evoluzione

Is it the Manchester job you have applied for, how is the application going, did you manage to pass the assessments and are waiting to hear further? Unfortunately for me I got knocked back after the interview, good luck if you're still waiting.
