ground staff recruitment.

Hello all,

pretty much given up now on becoming a train driver as a external applicant even though many do get though.
So in light of GBRf having this new depot/yard here in Doncaster and also they are buying up new trains which means they will be "promoting" their ground staff to be drivers if they so wish means their will be soon recruiting again... i hope.

When do GBRf recruit for ground staff, is it a annual thing or as a when they need them basis?
In fact any of DBSr and Freighliner have yards here in Doncaster so how often do they need to recruit for ground staff??

Don't give up Aaron, just keep searching and applying for jobs and opening new doors for yourself. If doors are shutting on you, open new ones.

Its not giving up or in, just another way into the industry. Ground staff to yard shunter to i hope mainline freight driver! Hey im even doing truck driving to get experience in dealing with cargo and customers, now if that isn't dedication i don't know what is haha

But to my original question, any information of ground staff roles local to Doncaster and surrounding area?? Immingham? Rotherham?
