I'm having MAJOR problems at Greenford, I want to take pics for the Central Line for BVE but the CSA keeps asking me to stop and tells me you need a permit. At any other station on the network, including NR in London, I could just take pics. I need some advice on what to do.

Thanks,
Jamie

best thing to do is write to LUL and get proper permission, as technically you're using the pictures for 'commercial' purposes, PM 'snapper' he'd be able to point you in the right direction;)

Sorry, but unfortunately there's no arguing at LU stations. You need a permit.

But what I don't understand is that I take photos at all other stations and I'm allowed to.
Maybe the staff at the other stations were just using their discretion, rather than you simply being allowed to photograph at those locations? Also, I wouldn't really class being unable to take some photos at a railway station one of lifes 'MAJOR' problems ;)

I have an idea, if we could distract the staff, D9009 would take the pictures with the staff not looking, when D9009 is done taking photographs, we will run out of the station.

This is just a plan of Andrew's to get wasted and make it look like we are doing it for a reason ;)

I took some photos at Greenford back in Feb without fuss.

Although I wasn't there long and only interested in the National Rail bit, maybe they turn a blind eye to anyone potentially terrorising FGW!

Thats unfortunate, when I took photos there a few weeks ago, the driver of the tube train got out and asked if I was taking a photo, and then stood next to the cab and smiled as he wanted to be in my photo. After about 20 seconds of enthusiastic chatting, he left, and blew his whistle for us, which shows that he had no problem with me taking phots.
Definately the nicest tube driver I have met!

Then the CSA must hate me. Every time I'm there he runs up the escalator and tells me no photography is allowed. I know it says No Flash Photography on a little board but I was not using flash. I was taking photos of the LU bit.
