Royal Mail has demanded an increase from £12,871 to £35,300 to run the post bus service on certain routes, this was refused so now Royal Mail are still running the same vehicles but refusing to carry passengers! In future they may replace them with vehicles that don't have seats but I don't think that will save them much money as they have to run the vans anyway.

Royal Mail have damaged themselves and the communities with their greed.

Some post buses still run, for example Pitlochry to Rannoch, which is useful for getting between the Highland Main Line and West Highland Line.
