Off to Greece for a few days. Railways are not the purpose of the visit but I will have a bit of a look at the local scene. How are things regarding photography? Is it accepted or are they touchy about it?

From my one visit they were very relaxed about everything, from walking across/along running lines to photography.

They can get quite jumpy when it comes to photography if it is of military installations or of religious people. If you are on one of the islands closer to Turkey there seems to be more military stuff and more no photos signs than elsewhere.

I have however taken photos of trains and ships/ferries - holiday snaps rather than anything more serious - and have no issues.

When I was there everything was covered in graffiti in 2017 however I believe their was an effort to remove it off the trains and keep it off.

Hopefully this is the case and the trains will look a lot better
