I saw 37611 at the GG yesterday (Sunday) but not 37800, which I believe was present on Friday. Were these swapped over during the event?

I think 800 was needed for duties and left on Friday evening.

800 was there on the Sunday, just outside the shed near Flying Scotsman, Blue Peter, Gresley etc. 611 showed up at Derby station around 1700, didn't see it leave though as I had to shoehorn myself into an already full Voyager

37800 was there for the whole of Saturday. 37611 left just before opening on Saturday morning having dropped off 730202 on Friday evening

Yes, you're right. My notebook even says 37800 so I have completely invented seeing 37611 at GG (this must have been the ROG 37 at Derby RTC at 1640).

37800 there for all 3 days in the same place near the steam locos. 37611 arrived Friday evening with 730202 and then left Saturday morning just before opening.

You would've seen 37800 on Friday, assuming you saw said loco at Litchurch Lane during the open hours

It arrived into Derby station at 18.15 on Saturday.
