Greater Manchester Plus Bus

Has Plus Bus for Greater Manchester changed? I thought it used to include all of Greater Manchester but now it seems to just include a small area near the station it's issued from, which doesn't extend outside of the PTE area.

Ah OK. I don't know why they put a 'zone map' that only includes part of the GM area but nothing outside of it (excluding the usual Glossop exception) for stations near the GM border like Altrincham and Stalybridge.

I think it is just to give you an idea of where you can go from that rail station.

The zone maps are just an aid for unfamiliar travelers to the areas in question.
