Greater Eastern - Thoughts

I'm surprised it's not being talked about on here (as far as I can see!), but Making Tracks have got Greater Eastern out now for MSTS. I've been spending an outrageous amount on it since I installed it on Saturday afternoon!

Anyone else got it and have any thoughts on it? I've finished 12 of the supplied activities now, with just 4 more to go (until the Sudbury to Crown Point one is fixed that is). I've even done some work on my first activity for the route, using 55022 and 87007 in a two-part job. Tons of AI to add, which is going to be extremely fun, not!

I really like the new add-on, although Norwich to Ipswich is as it is to me in reality, boring! Been up and down that bit loads already, seems to depend what you're driving on that bit as for how fun it is.

Let's say this for Making Tracks, I would have preferred them over European Bahn to have produced a ECML route, nothing on European Bahn but they would have been far better sticking to flight sims etc then train sims...

I tend to agree with that. However it does fill the missing gap that was evident in GE1

That it does, a welcome addition. Now we just need things like the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth branches too. Hint hint MT! ;)
