Have GA actually made any publicly available proposals regarding the December 2019 timetable?

Is there a public consultation process?

That's what they told me, I'm chasing them up tomorrow.

Why would a minor London Overground managed station feature on the GA route map when GA services don't call there?

Because it's got a major re-development to the area and is projected to be busier than Edmonton Green in a few years. Silver Street more so with the meridian water project.

WHL isn't a minor station. It's by far the busiest served only by LO.

Is there any discussion of the improvements Greater Anglia want to see infrastructure-wise in the near future, that they're implying they'll aggressively push for? I know it's outside the scope of this thread, but haven't seen comment on it anywhere else.

I'm sure the 379s can cover the route a bit quicker than the current schedule suggests. After all the running times are the same for 379s and 317s.

Much of which seems quite sensible and there are some suggestions that GA may finance some of them themselves (one of the benefits of the involvement of Mitsui?) Throwing their hat in with NR's Digital revolution is a bit more surprising, (though I know that local politicians have been campaigning for all NR's funds to be spent in Anglia), as the benefits are yet to be fully understood and quantified and do you really want to be commiting to a large trial on such a busy network with all the risks involved and subjecting customers to enduring another round of years of engineering work whilst its installed and commissioned?

You are correct that WHL is the busiest served only by LO, if you overlook the 35-odd stations served only by LO above it in the latest usage figures :P

Alternative Facts and all that

They also still haven't told us why Greater Anglia would feature it in their plans when it's a London Overground station...unless the random peak hours only Hertford East services are going to take it up as a calling point in addition to Seven Sisters and Edmonton.

GA will only call at White Hart Lane for football traffic and only then when Northumberland Park is unavailable.

One of the hertford east trains at least per hour can be diverted via the lea valley lines as I don't see why there are 3 trains on the WAML. Currently off peak, 2tph see's about 10 people per 4/8 carriage working between Liv st - Tottenham Hale, about 20 between Hale and Cheshunt, 15 between there and Rye House and the number diminishes. Its' nonsensical to not have a hereford train at LEAST off peak calling at a few Lea valley stations like stoke Newington, Seven Sisters, White Hart Lane, Edmonton green etc.
Peak hertford easts are also very under=capacity - nothing is more annoying for commuters between Edmonton green and SVS to see a Hereford train rattling through late and quiet whilst the LO train turns up late and extremely packed.

I meant the LO stations on this route.
it is busier than you'd imagine though, and could easily have 10-20m users by 2020 depending on how fast the Tottenham redevelopment grows
