I only submitted my application on Wednesday night at 9pm had a reply at 8am Friday morning inviting me to do the online assessments. Good luck to all who have applied hopefully you should hear something pretty soon.

They won’t have read your application yet! They use the SJT to cut the amount of applications they will have to read down!

As mentioned above, it will most likely be a long wait.... I applied to GTR in March...... still waiting to hear.... it a waiting game and a very long one at that!

No, just that I passed the SJT, I tried to ascertain wither my pass mark was enhanced but I was told I would be emailed shortly. Either notifying me of a assessment date or congratulations on passing but on this occasion etc etc.

I was forced too phone Greater Anglia as my only internet source was busted namely my iPhone, I needed to know, I don’t advise phoning GA but I am sure I was not the only one. Good luck too everyone as passing a SJT is only a drop in the ocean as there is still four assessments and two interviews to get through for anyone lucky enough to be invited to assessment centre.

That is true. I have passed all of the assessments so hopefully I would just be invited to a manager interview if they notice my application. Unless there is a GA specific assessment.

I just got an email which basically appears to be an update stating the obvious: they have a lot of applicants and haven't processed things yet.

Says to reapply if I haven’t heart about an assessment centre, how/when though?

Yep. Got the exact same one. It's a shame we may have to reapply if they don't review our application in time though.

I thought that. Seems ludicrous that you might have to reapply because they can only keep your details for a certain amount of time. Does anyone know how long that is?

There is no set time limit - as long as the job is still vacant they keep hold of our information because they have a legitimate use for it. After that they should get rid of it unless we say its OK.

Well in this situation a reasonable amount of time to me is until the jobs are filled..
