Does anyone know what is the salary of Greater Anglia Depot driver during training and once qualified. Also how long is the training?
Do the Depot drivers hold same licence as Mainline drivers.

I'm not sure of the salary for Ilford off the top of my head but no, they hold a slightly different license. Its still a full train driving one but the traction and route knowledge wont allow movements on the mainline.

Training salary around 29900. Qualified is 30945. Sundays outside, committed.
training about 8 weeks rules then 25 days with DI followed by ~5 days assessment with DM.
you will obtain a European drivers licence but all that really means is you passed psychometrics and medical. The real part is the paper part that will just say ilford carriage sidings or some such. You will learn lots of different traction at ilford.Good luck.

I think most of the TOC's state you must have 6 months or 12 months before you can apply for a different position

DM assessment is about 3 days and the traction you'll be learning will be for 315,317 (soon to removed) 321,360,379,720 and shunting using an 08 diesel.
