Can anyone tell me if the GB test is on a computer or on paper for Greater Anglia??

No idea what a 'GB' test is.

The only non pen and paper tests with Greater Anglia are Reactions (computer) and Versant English Speaking Test (phone)

It's a paper based version for the GB test. Computer only used for reaction test.

I think just about all the tests you do are on paper.

The group Barton test is done in a paper booklet as are all the other tests. The reaction test is done on a machine

So my husband passed the Assessments today!!! YAY!!! There were only 3 of them and the first 2 people were sent home after the first couple of tests so he finished on his own....now awaiting the letter for the Strucured Interview!

Also, they have said that the Ipswich positions were all filled internally which is bad news for us but he'll keep going anyway to see if he gets offered something elsewhere.

So my husband passed the Assessments today!!! YAY!!! There were only 3 of them and the first 2 people were sent home after the first couple of tests so he finished on his own....now awaiting the letter for the Strucured Interview!

Also, they have said that the Ipswich positions were all filled internally which is bad news for us but he'll keep going anyway to see if he gets offered something elsewhere.

My initial assessments were in June, my Reactions Test was on 22nd August. Still awaiting my SI letter!

Oh my Word! So we could be in for a loooong wait....Is it down to which depot you applied for I wonder. Because people have mentioned that the Norwich Training begins in Novemeber so maybe they are sorting all those out, then they'll work like that according to when training starts.

Hey, Emilymay86! My husband was one of the 2 who was sent home on Weds! He met your hubby and is really pleased he got through. My hubby passed the dials test but failed the one where he had to recall info from the sheet provided. He didn't practice that as much as everything else! The woman giving feedback said that he would have passed at other centres but Greater Anglia has a higher pass rate. Don't know if this is the case or whether she was trying to make him feel better! Anyway, huge congratulations and hope your hubby goes all the way

Got offered the job today as a Trainee Depot Driver at Ilford starting on 12th October! So excited and happy can't wait XD

Thanks for message, sorry to hear he didn't get through this time...but he can try again. Kevin also asked the HR lady if the other 2 had failed, she said they both passed at a national level but not for GA....so be encouraged, he would probably get through elsewhere. My hubby also said that one was really tough cause there was so much info.

I had my structured interview and am waiting on news...

Which begs the question:

How many have had their structured interview and have found out their result, either pass or fail? How long did it take to find out?

I had mine in May and was told the next day by phone. Had manager's interview about 10 days later.

Got my medical tomorrow, just had the contract through and formal letter of offer. All feeling very real now with November not that far away.

Just for your info guys. The next intake is March I am led to believe and there will be 8 places. I believe some of these will be Bishops and Cambridge.

Please don't quote me on this as you can never rely on 2nd hand info...but I thought some of you may be interested that's all.

I sat my tests in may but the reaction test I did not do till August due to it not working then passed that then they offered me a interview 4 days later but could not make it so they gave me a new interview date which was today, which I think did not go very well to me.
