Great Yarmouth to Hemel/Kings Langley

Hello all.

I am looking for some advice on fares from Great Yarmouth to Kings Langley on October 27th arriving by 12 noon and leaving Hemel Hempstead on October 29th at any time after peak hours. I would much rather go by train all the way as I know there is engineering work on GEML around Chelmsford on October 27.

I hold no railcards and it is for 1 adult

I recommend you book as two separate single journeys.

First book Great Yarmouth to Kings Langley 'via Bury St Edmunds' single for 27 Oct.
Great Yarmouth 7:17 - Kings Langley 11:59 - £22.50 Advance Single
You also avoid the rail replacement bus with this ticket.

Then book Hemel Hempstead to Great Yarmouth (no via point) for 29 Oct.
Lots of Advance Singles at £18 in the morning.

So £40.50 return. You'll need to stick to the booked trains and book these tickets a.s.a.p. as prices rise as tickets are sold.

Note an Off Peak Return is £53.40 and is available on the day with no requirement to stick to booked trains (just some time restrictions when returning on the Monday)
