Great West Way (West) Validity

There is inconsistent documentation about this Rover, so I've just submitted this query to GWR. Not expecting a quick reply, but if I get one I'll post it and any other observations are welcome.

This is regarding the train validity of the Great West Way West Rover, of which GWR is the main operator. Could you clarify, and where necessary correct, the following issues with the documentation about this product which contradict each other?


1 Bristol Parkway

The National Rail web site, which is supposed to be the definitive source, states the following validity:

- Bristol Temple Meads - Swindon Via Bristol Parkway or Chippenham

Your website states:

- Bristol Temple Meads - Swindon via Chippenham

Is travel allowed via Bristol Parkway?


2 Frome

Both web sites state:

- Westbury - Frome

Whereas the map provided on National Rail, Discover-Map-May-2023-V2.pdf, excludes Frome from the Great West Way yellow routes.

Is travel allowed to Frome?


3 Hungerford

Both web sites have no mention of Hungerford and state:

- Westbury - Pewsey

Whereas the map provided on your web site, GWW-Discoverer.pdf, states:

- Bristol - Hungerford Via Bath, Trowbridge, Westbury or Frome and Pewsey

Is travel allowed to Hungerford and therefore also Bedwyn?

in answer to your questions, travel is allowed via Bristol Parkway and Frome is included. Travel is allowed to Hungerford and therefore also Bedwyn
