Great Northern Peterborough to Kings Cross

My train of choice in the mornings is the 05.42, formed of 2 x 365 units and booked to run fast line from Huntingdon. Over the last few weeks it has stayed on the slow lines until Hitchin. Sometimes we now get stuck behind freight at Biggleswade, and this morning held twice (because we were late) outside of Hitchin and then at Woolmer Green to let a Cambridge to Brighton through, so 15 minutes late at Kings Cross. Having made enquiries with Network Rail, it is because of a problem with self dispatch on the fast lines at Biggleswade. Does anyone know if this situation is going to get resolved or if the timetable is going to be changed to take using the slow lines into account?
