In the Great Northern timetable consultation in 2018 this quote about intentions appeared:

Obviously this has not happened yet, what with may 2018 and the new trains taking ages. But the new trains have been around for a while now, and so I was wondering whether such (or even any) improvements might actually be on the horizon?
Maybe in May, once the tunnels are cleaned and the new trains are properly bedded in?
