Also the Fairburn Tank will not now be appearing this weekend at the Tank Engine Gala, commendably the GCR have got a replacement loco in the form of 41241 from the KWVR though for me this is of little interest as I can have this 'on my doorstep'. I booked 2 nights away (non refundable) primarily to do a railtour on Saturday and the Fairburn on Sunday. The tour has been postponed, the Fairburn isn't ready. Great. <(

You might get an appearance from the N2 though, she's being steam tested today, and if she's all ready to go she'll be in light steam over the weekend.

Saw the N2 outside the shed, presume it's going to be LNER green rather than BR black looking at its undercoat scheme? Good to meet you briefly while you were guard by the way!
