Great Central Railway - Network Rail Class 37198

A bit puzzled as to when this engine is going back to Network Rail, for at least the past couple of Diesel Galas, they always say that this will be it's last gala before leaving, never seemed to happen though, has it already gone?

Still there. It was supposed to be moving to High Marnham test track, but is not suitable for this because it is not fitted with required equipment so a replacement is being sought. As from what I've heard it's future is questionable

The loco looks very sad for itself, surely a quick once over would be an improvement, it cannot send out a very good message to the general public who travel on GCR, I know the enthusiasts wouldn't be worried though.

It doesn't haul passenger trains though, it's hired to the GCR for p-way work only and rarely hauls passenger services. Although it would be nice for a repaint into Blue or Green
