What is the current state of the project to connect the north and south over the MML? How much would this cost?

They will replace the current bridge on the GCR(N) section over the A60 next to Brush Works

I thought the £15m price was for the complete "Greater GCR" package, including bridging the MML, double-tracking the GCR(N) and possibly even the construction of "Loughborough Midland (High-Level)" station.

If they do link up both halves of the line, would they go forward towards Nottingham, or have to do a little reversal as they do now, to get into the transport musuem station at Ruddington. ? I Did A UKRailtour to there a couple of months ago, it was very good. Hope they do link up soon.

lafarge will be contributing a large amount too so it has more chance now.
