graphics problems bve 4

can anybody help me.

i have recently got bve 4 to work on vista but when everthing loads up the train cab appears on the screen but no external objects/scenery are displayed just
orange where it would be

With Vista it's recommended to use openBVE, not BVE4. Yes, you can use BVE4 if you so desire, but it's such a rigmarole to get it to work on Vista, extra files needed etc., then there's no guarantee it'll work once you got everthing installed & set up. OpenBVEis your best option.
