Does anyone have any info about the LNWR branch to the Grand Union Canal from near Harlesden ?

Specifically authorisation, opening, closing dates, name of junction/terminus would be very helpful

It's not marked as being around in my 'Pre-Grouping' atlas, ie circa 1920/22.
Bearing in mind the close proximity of the canal, was there a specific branch, or could it have been an extended siding?

I have seen the branch in Jowett's Rail Atlas coming off the former London & Birmingham line at "Canal Jct" near Harlesden, this is based on the Railway Clearing House maps.

It is also shown on the Railway Clearing House diagram of Harrow & Neasden from 1914 coming off the main line just north of Harlesden but it did not give a name for the junction or the terminus, but it does show it turning at right angle to the main line and going about a mile, so I don't think it was just a siding.

I have looked at some old maps and I have discovered that it was not shown pre 1874 and it was not there post 1958, possibly closing pre 1939?
