Hi,
This is going to seem really simple and trivial to some people on this forum, but:
I'm having trouble understanding what this bet is about:
Aintree & Grand National Specials - GN Age of Winner
-10 Years old or older
-Lay bet
From how I understand it, this bet means I am betting that a horse aged 10, or under 10 will win the Grand National.
It says:
You are betting AGAINST 10 years old or older to win. Odds are 990/1.
Stake £20.00. Payout £19,800.
Am I right in assuming that for my £20, if a horse 10 or under wins, I win £19k?
What happens if I lose? Do I just lose the £20?
