Hi guys, I am travelling overnight from Doncaster to Halifax this weekend on Grand Central. What have people's experiences of been like on Grand Central since they restarted services. How busy have the trains been, any issues with seat reservations, etc, cheers.

Remember you need a reservation. You will only be on board for about an hour, and this is usually a fairly quiet part of the journey. So unless you end up in the sidings it won't be overnight!

Thanks. I made the reservation a few weeks ago. Going Saturday and coming back Sunday.

I am hoping in a few months from now to have a daytrip to West Yorkshire including a Grand Central train from Bradford or at least Halifax to Pontefract. Given that I would only buy my Bus & Rail Day Saver on the day, it may be tricky to reserve a seat as near to travel as that.
