Grand Central HST Failed in York

Just thought I'd let people know that 43065 and 067 have failed in York station

Anybody know who thunderbirds for GC?

43084 and 43123 are on the 1127 KGX - SUN

I'm only going by what a friend has said who is in York and he said that there was an announcment saying that an earlier soutbound service was cancelled but this has lights facing northbound

have they continued south becasuse ive not seen anything at Colton, although i might of taken a nap at that point.

1A60 0640 SUN-KGX was a HST and ran through to KGX with no problems and is returning on 1127 KGX-SUN and is allocated to then work 1730 SUN-KGX

1A61 0918 SUN-KGX I had assumed was plastic because there's only been one HST set out recently, so I guess they must have two sets out now, this train appears to have been stuck at York for nearly an hour now. It is due to leave KGX at 1650 however they can 'step up' the 1918 and that would give them quite a long time to find a replacement to operate the 1918 from King's Cross. They should have plenty of Adelantes in preperation for the Bradford services.

My mate said that there was announcment saying that a southbound service was cancelled and that this HST was the southbound service but because one of the p/cs failed, it went back north

Thanks for passing the message on. I plan to take a trip on the other HST this afternoon! I can confirm that 084 and 123 are on the next northbound from York. You can tell your mate that if he's there, it'll be worth the wait!
